USO European Expansion & Family Support Campaign

In October 2022, on behalf of SidexSide Studios, I traveled to U.S. military bases in Poland where troops were deployed to support Ukrainian forces. Traveling with talented DoP Teresa Carante and USO staff, our goal was to capture the emotional toll of this deployment and to highlight the gap that the USO fills on these missions. We filmed with a light footprint and a great deal of sensitivity given the security risks on the ground. As a director, I had to bring a dynamic and flexible approach to the project to ensure we were able to capture the emotional essence of the mission while respecting the limitations of the shoot. The result was a high-impact video the USO was then used for a major fundraising campaign while building community and connections back home.
